Chocolate workshop at Civic Center La Fábrica

Dra. Gosalbo directed the chocolate tasting workshop at Civic Center La Fàbrica in Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana.

The workshop was divided in two intense sesions and allowed to get deeper into the fascinating world of chocolate: the cocoa tree, varieties, origin, history, production of chocolate, nutrition facts, myths and reality, culinary uses...

The second sesion focused on tasting iniciation. First tasting 5 varieties of chocolate with increasing cocoa percentage and, after, 7 different varieties single origin: Grenada, Ghana, Venezuela, Ecuador, Santo Domingo, Madagascar y Java.
